Strawberry Ruby Sunrise - Single and Batch Recipes (Mocktail)
Featuring Strawberry Ginger Lime syrup
Single Serve Ingredients:
- 1/4 oz. Strawberry Ginger Lime syrup
- 1 Barspoon Fustini’s Citrus Oregano Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz. chilled Mandarin Ginger Tea (Choice Organics)
- 1 oz Ginger Ale
- 2 muddled strawberries in syrup and vinegar
- Garnish suggestion lime wheel
Directions:
- Steep tea - 1 bags of tea per 1 cup of cold water. Recommend steeping for a minimum of 5 minutes.
- Add strawberries, syrup, and vinegar to a shaking tin and muddle.
- Add lime juice and tea, to a shaking tin with ice and stir until chilled.
- Double strain into a rocks glass with a single rock.
- Top with Ginger Ale
- Garnish with a lime wheel and serve.
Big Batch 1 Gallon = 128 oz Ingredients:
- 8.33 oz Strawberry Ginger Lime Syrup (just under 1 bottle)
- 8.33 oz fresh lime juice
- 4 oz Citrus Oregano Vinegar (Fustinis)
- 67 oz Mandarin Ginger Tea ( For every 8 oz of tea, use 2 tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes)
- 33.33 oz Ginger Ale
- 1 cup muddled strawberries in syrup and vinegar
- Garnish suggestion, lime wheel
Directions:
- Make Tea based on directions.
- While tea is steeping, juice limes (you will get approximately 1 oz of juice per lime).
- Quarter strawberries and in a bowl, muddle with vinegar and syrup, then pour mixture into pitcher or decanter.
- Add tea and lime juice. Stir.
- Add Ginger Ale.
- Add 2 cups of ice (ideally large ice cubes so they melt slowly). Stir.
- Serve each portion over ice and garnish with a lime wheel.
- Reduce to 120 oz to account for ice. Will create just over 33 servings.
