Hello Spring Hibiscus and Elderflower Mocktail

Ingredients: (for 1)

  • 1 pkg. Hibiscus Elderberry Tea (Meijer
    brand)
  • 1⁄2 oz Hibiscus Mango Ginger syrup
    (Precision Syrups)
  • 3 Mint leaves
  • 2 oz Elderflower Tonic (Fever Tree)
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Fig Balsamic Vinegar
    (O...California)
  • Garnish suggestion Fresh Mint

 

Directions: 

  1. Steep 1 pkg Hibiscus Elderberry tea in 1 cup boiling
    water for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in 100 - 110 grams of ice (~1/2 cup) until fully
    melted (yields 1.5 cups)
  3. In shaking tin, muddle 2 oz of tea, 3 mint
    leaves, and 1⁄2 oz Hibiscus Mango Ginger Syrup.
  4. Add 1 oz lemon juice and 1⁄2 tsp Fig Balsamic
    Vinegar to shaking tin with ice and shake to
    combine/ dilute. OR....If stirring (for larger
    batches), add 1 tsp of water to each serving,
    and stir to combine.
  5. Fill Moscow Mule mug OR rocks glass with
    ice and add 2 oz Elderflower tonic water.
  6. Double Strain/ Pour combined ingredients on
    top of tonic and garnish with mint. Enjoy!

Ingredients: (Large batch for 60)

  • 10 tea bags of Hibiscus Elderberry Tea  (Meijer brand)
  • 30 oz Hibiscus Mango Ginger syrup 
    (Precision Syrups) (will need 3.5 bottles of Hibiscus Mango Ginger syrup)
  • 4-5 bunches of Mint leaves (will want roughly 3 large bunches for muddling, and a mint leaf for each serving as a garnish.
  • 2  oz Elderflower Tonic (Fever Tree)/ 120 oz or roughly 7 cases of Elderflower tonic.
  • 60  oz fresh lemon juice (7.5 cups)
  • 30 tsp. Fig Balsamic Vinegar (5 oz)
    (O...California)
  • 10 oz water 
  • Garnish suggestion Fresh Mint

 

Directions:

  1. Steep 10 pkg Hibiscus Elderberry tea in 10 cups boiling water for 5 minutes. 
  2. Stir in 1185 grams of ice (~5 cups) until fully melted (yields 15 cups)
  3. n a bowl, muddle 10 oz of tea, ½ a bunch of mint leaves, and 5 oz Hibiscus Mango Ginger Syrup. (Transfer mixture to a large pitcher or bowl. Repeat 6 times.)
  4. Add to full tea and syrup mixture: 7.5 cups fresh lemon juice and 5 oz Fig Balsamic Vinegar. add 10 oz of water and stir to combine. This can be stirred in your beverage dispenser.
  5. To serve: Fill Moscow Mule mug OR rocks glass with ice (about 1/2 full) and add 2 oz Elderflower tonic water. 
  6. Before serving, stir ingredients in dispenser again to make sure they are properly combined. Pour combined ingredients on top of tonic and garnish with mint. Enjoy!
