Park Slope (Our version of a Manhattan)

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Rye whiskey
  • 1/2 oz 20% Raspberry crescendo liqueur (see liqueur calculator)
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 oz Extra Dry Vermouth
  • drop of Raspberry Crescendo syrup
  • 2 Lavender sprigs (culinary is best) for garnish

Directions:

  1. Wash coup or Nick and Nora glass with extra dry vermouth and drop of Raspberry Crescendo syrup.  Dump the wash out.
  2. Pour remaining ingredients in a stirring glass with ice and stir for 12 - 15 seconds until chilled.
  3. Using a Hawthorne strainer, pour the stirred cocktail in glass.  
  4. After drink is poured Pour a small amount of Raspberry Crescendo syrup into the base of the glass.
  5. Garnish with 2 sprigs of lavender clipped to the side of your glass.
  6. Enjoy!
